Fume exhaust hoods are designed to contain and exhaust toxic, abnoxious or otherwise harmful gases, vapours, mist etc to protect personnel and equipment. A motor driven blower creates negative pressure within the chamber extracting the contaminated air from work area and expel it into the atmosphere. The Hood is ventilated of the air drawn for inside the Laboratory which is used effectively for thorough sweep – out of work chamber. Fume Hood is fabricated out of 18mm thick Duro Board with interior covered with epoxy paint and all exterior are covered with thick white mica sheet. All joints are tongs and grooved type for extra strudiness. Table top is covered with non antiglare platform of 304 stainless steel sheet. Inner side panels are covered with chemical resistant ceramic tiles up to 3 ft. height on 3 sides. A up and down sliding sash / door made of thick seasoned teak wood / anodized aluminium and mounted with heavy glass with front opening Work table base is provided with one drawer and one storage box. Fume hood is provided with following facilities.  Electric point 15 / 5 Amps 2 nos. Wash basin of size : 250 x 250 x 125mm depth made of S. S. with waste pipe. Stainless Steel water tap. Assembly consist of suitable American universal motor or equivalent working on 220V 50 Hz single phase A C. Dynamically and statistically balanced blowers make the unit least vibrant with minimum noise level. Provided with 1/2 nos. fluorescent tube light with all necessary fittings etc. Provided with 2 nos. extra electrical points. Exhaust system is provided with ISI mark motor driven blower and fitted with suitable exhaust pipe and ducting. Provided with mains indicator lamp, fluorescent tube, switch etc.
